What to Write About - Research Paper Writing

What to Write About - Research Paper WritingThe task of writing a research paper is never easy. What to write my research paper on? Many people find it difficult to know the right questions to ask in order to keep their research papers on track.Whatever you do, do not forget the most important question you need to ask when writing your research paper. It is what most people neglect. This question is your research foundation and, once answered, you can begin to think about what to write. In order to answer the first question, what to write about, you need to think about the research you are doing. What was the purpose of your research? For example, what is your objective in writing your research paper? Would you like to present your findings as part of a conference talk, or would you rather show them in a poster format so that others can have a closer look at them?Your answer to this question will largely determine the types of research you will be doing in your research project. For e xample, if you are researching the use of Facebook in selling products, your research needs to be focused on how people use Facebook for advertising purposes. If you want to learn more about the business use of Twitter for marketing, you need to understand how Twitter is used in business. You will also need to decide whether your main ideas to be presented will all be discussed within the context of your research topic. For example, if you are studying the use of Facebook in business, you may want to consider including a number of strategies to explain the importance of using Facebook. You might include the following:'Currently, more than 40 million people in the United States use Facebook to interact with their friends, create and share photos, connect with people from different walks of life, and meet new friends. This is increasing at a fast pace. Facebook not only provides free public access to virtually anyone and everyone, but it has become a popular, free source of content and information. In fact, one study has shown that Facebook users are more likely to share what they like and feel with their friends on Facebook.'When writing your research paper, be sure to add the key findings of the report. If you write a study where participants were asked to rate their satisfaction with having received a free t-shirt, include the following: 'Participants indicated a wide range of satisfaction levels regarding the free shirt - from feeling very satisfied to feeling that the free t-shirt was almost completely useless. Overall, participants reported higher satisfaction with the free t-shirt that they received than participants in any other group.'This is just a simple example of what to write about in your research paper. The important thing to remember is that whatever you are doing, your goal should be to provide your audience with a detailed and clear explanation of what you have found.
